Ducati recently celebrated its 90th anniversary, and part of the celebration included the renovation of the museum. The museum which opened its doors in 1998 and has seen over half a million visitors.
Exhibits into three major categories
The renovation led to the exhibits being divided into three major categories.
- The past, showcases the history of the production bikes, 15 road bikes that illustrate the evolution that has taken place from 1946 to the present.
- The racing heritage with a parade of the Ducati racing bikes displayed next to their trophies and the racing suits of the riders.
- The major events, a timeline of facts, people and technological innovations that represent the milestones of the company’s history since it began in 1926.



With the newly renovated museum, Ducati hopes to appeal to the old guard of Ducatisti, and at the same time introduce the pedigree of the brand to a new generation.
Visitors to the museum have the option of using the free multimedia guide with their smartphone or tablet.

The Ducati Factory Tour
Since you’ll be in the neighbour, you might also consider touring the Ducati Factory. The factory in Borgo Panigale is open to visitors and has long been a pilgrimage destination for motorcyclists and Duc fans.
