Inaugural ‘Women in Motorsports World Conference’ Taking Place This August in Finland – Registration Ends July 15
Created in 2006, the FIM Women in Motorcycling Commission (WMC) is an active advocate for women in motorcycling.
With a mission to increase the participation of women in all activities and at all levels, the WMC promotes projects to remove barriers and explore opportunities which facilitate the active involvement of women.
One such event is the first-ever “Women in Motorsports Conference” taking place August 17-18, 2019 in the Lahti Region, Finland.
A joint collaboration between the Women in Motorcycling (FIM) and Women in Motorsport (FIA), the world conference celebrates the women and men involved in motorsports who promote the presence of women.
With almost 40 keynote speakers, including some of the biggest names in women’s motorsport, sharing their personal inspirational stories, followed by panel discussions and workshops.
The event provides visitors with the opportunity to broaden their network and build new relationships. Most importantly you will get inspired.

- The meaning and social impact of the sport for children,

- The electric industry will share their ideas about the future of motorsport concentrating especially on Formula E and MotoE world championship series.
