As the 2021 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship heads into a short summer break, the racing organization compiled a trio of slow-motion highlights allowing viewers to take a long, close look at the riders and their machines in the finest of details.

What is the FIM Superbike World Championship
The FIM Superbike World Championship is a premier international motorcycle racing series featuring modified motorcycles from leading motorcycle manufacturers. The championship was first held in 1988 and is regulated by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM).
The series comprises multiple races in various countries worldwide, with riders competing for the championship title based on their accumulated points throughout the season. The bikes used in the series are based on production models but are heavily modified for racing, including changes to the engine, suspension, brakes, and electronics.
The championship is considered one of the most competitive and challenging motorcycle racing series in the world, with riders and teams from all over the world competing against each other on some of the most demanding circuits on the planet.
