Nmoto Studio in Miami Gardens, Florida, as-built the Nmoto Nostalgia motorcycle in an ambitious throwback to capture the essence of the legendary German prototype – the 1934 BMW R7.

The BMW R7, designed in 1934 with a 750 cc overhead-valve engine, is considered by many classic bike aficionados to be the Mona Lisa of the motorcycle world. Forbes magazine referred to the bike as “The sexiest BMW motorcycle ever, the mythological R7”.

The mythological R7’s Art Deco design was years ahead of its time yet was never produced. 

The heart of the Nostalgia is a modern BMW R Nine T, customized with 96 handcrafted pieces. Built primarily of aircraft-grade aluminum, the Nostalgia is lighter than a stock R Nine T and the original prewar prototype.

The 1170cc motor produces 110 hp at 7750 RPM and a top speed of 140 miles (225 km). With a modern suspension and unique steering mechanisms encased in a pre World War II design, the Nostalgia provides riders with a slice of the past without sacrificing performance, comfort or contemporary reliability.
