THE HEINRICH MANEUVER BMW Motorcycle
Named after Karl Heinrich the German fuel tank designer, the bespoke BMW R nine motorcycle was designed by custom builders Deus Ex Machina. Emphasis was placed on the fuel tank, a work of art in itself, with an internal labyrinth of alloy channels to offset the considerable fuel load. Atop the tank you’ll find a suede lined lid over a recess which houses the fuel cap and the ignition switch.
The sub frame is a blend of square and round section tubing, upon which sits a hand crafted alloy and suede cafe racer inspired seat. The standard air-box was replaced with a K&N filter. Exhaust leaves via reworked headers forming a 2 into 1 into 2 custom exhaust system fabricated in house. Body position being critical the foot-pegs and controls are positioned slightly rear-set from standard.
Simplicity in design the Deus Ex Machina, Heinrich Manoeuvre motorcycle celebrates form and function together as one.
